RoosterCollect-EV Pro™ is a translation-friendly, low particulate, chemically defined Extracellular Vesicle (EV) collection media kit designed to increase total hMSC-EV yields. For use post-cell expansion, this medium supports cell health during hMSC-based EV collection to elongate the collection window, increase EV yields, and reduce variability in 3D Bioreactor as well as 2D flask culture systems.

RoosterCollect EV Pro should be stored at 4°C and used within two weeks after it is prepared.
It is recommended that RoosterCollect EV Pro is warmed at room temperature protected from light. Studies show warming at 37°C for extended periods of time can negatively impact cell growth and EV production in RoosterCollect EV Pro.
RoosterCollect EV Pro increases the amount of time that cells can be cultured in an EV Collection media by supporting cell health. We have cultured our cells in it for up to 6 additional days after the cells are initially grown in RoosterNourish-MSC-XF (part no. KT-016) and observe increased particle number each day. However, cell growth does start to plateau around 4 additional days of culture, so it is up to the customer to fully optimize the process and determine the culture time that works best for their application.
RoosterCollect EV Pro and the recommended protocol were developed with RoosterBio MSCs, but it may work well with other cell types. We recommend testing it out in your system.
