Vice President of Corporate Development & General Counsel

Mary Fletcher joined RoosterBio, Inc. in March 2019 as General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Development and brings a collective 25 plus years of diverse experience in both private practice and in-house experience with a global life sciences product manufacturing company.

As General Counsel, Mary provides strategic and efficient advice to all stakeholders to advance the Company’s growth strategy, enhance corporate governance practices, manage risk, and secure and defend contractual, IP and other rights, in a manner that facilitates the achievement of business objectives while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements. As Vice President of Corporate Development, Mary promotes and manages the Company’s strategic initiatives, market development opportunities and partnership advancement. Mary collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the Company’s strategic mission and provide oversight and leadership for all legal and corporate development needs of the business.

Prior to joining RoosterBio, Mary was a partner of Fletcher & Fletcher, PC, a general practice and real estate law firm located in the DC metropolitan area, where Mary represented clients in general corporate, commercial, transactional and governance matters. Prior to her tenure in private practice, Mary was Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary to a public global life sciences product manufacturing company, advising on commercial, employment, governance, securities compliance and environmental and safety matters, collaborating on acquisitions and divestitures, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and performing corporate secretarial responsibilities.

Mary holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Vermont Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
